My team within GrandPR is excited to announce we have completed our first client project of the semester with the organization Girls on the Run of Kent County. For those of you who aren't familiar with GrandPR, it is a student-run public relations firm created and managed by students at Grand Valley. This year we have over 20 students dedicated to providing their personal, professional, and educational experiences to create quality work for real clients. This firm is an opportunity beyond classes to work in an agency atmosphere, engage with clients, and produce actual material for a wide variety of clients. The entire firm is broken up into individual teams of three to four students who will work together with a certain client. My team consists of two other lovely ladies, one Account Executive, Jailyn Glass and two Account Associates, Erica Douglas and myself. As the three newbies to GrandPR, I am thrilled with the work and outcome of our first client, Girls on the Run and can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us! #GrandPR
