1. Pivotal Tracker 1: As you may have heard of the Jawbone, Fitbit, Nike Fuelband, the list goes on and on. Well this is another version of the fitness bands that I received this Christmas. The Pivotal Tracker tracks your steps, hydration, calories, sleep, and average walking distance everyday. The band is comfortable, I don't even notice it when I'm sleeping plus the silent vibrate alarm is much better than an annoying buzzer.
2. Duolingo: Learn a new language in 2015 with an app that provides over 9 different languages with over 30 lessons to learn. After each level you must achieve a certain number of points to go onto the next lesson. The app has interactive features that allows the user to speak the language into the phone to check for accuracy. I am currently working on the Italian version in preparation for my trip this summer!
3. Into the Woods: A little plug for a new movie that came out Christmas Day called 'Into the Woods'. A twisted plot of a combination of the Grimm Brother fairytales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, with the baker and his wife. The musical has unique and intricate music by composer Stephen Sondheim and lots of well-know celebrities; Meryl Streep makes quite a witch! I was in the musical in high school therefore a little bias about how wonderful the musical is. I don't want to give any more away, so go see for yourself!
4. Sevenly: Sevenly is a clothing and accessory organization that brings funding and awareness to the world's greatest causes. Sevenly created a "cause art" movement world wide by creating a 7-day cause related campaign and inviting customers to purchase items related to the cause in return donating $7 of the purchase to the cause. The organization is constantly changing the items so if you see an item you like it's best to purchase it there because the next week will be featuring a new cause campaign. This week's cause is Love is Louder, a support program to provide tools for teens to prevent depression, substance abuse, and self-harm. This week they are already raised $6,755 for the organization. They have truly unique clothing and are supporting several organizations throughout the year. I highly recommend getting involved on their website.
5. Warby Parker Eyewear: Best eyewear I have yet to discover! They offer both prescription glasses and sunglasses. And an awesome feature is the 5-day free try-on trial.
