You have one month to finish the book of 2014. Make the last chapter a perfect one.
Twenty Fifteen. Another year under my belt and a new one awaits around the corner. It's hard to say what the new year has in store for me and sometimes it's almost impossible to predict it but for now I focus on the book I am writing right in front of me.
My work and school life has been a hectic one this semester. Among the senior year scramble, turning 21, and resisting the urge to say 'no' to new projects I found myself looking for spare time. And don't get me wrong, I am spending time doing the things I love and practiced in school and working with people I enjoy but every once in a while I simply tell myself to slow down. And that is exactly how I plan to spend my last chapter of 2014.
The end of Fall semester is only two weeks away and Christmas vacation never sounded so good. And since it is my senior year, it dawned on me that this could be my last actual college Christmas vacation. Growing up is the pits. So for my last chapter of 2014, I plan to have lots of breakfast dates with my Grandma, spend late nights crafting with friends, shop till we drop with my mom, and finally completly a bottle cap table with my dad. It's the little projects and moments we miss out on when wrapped up in the mist of school work, deadlines, and obligations. This last chapter, always stay a kid at heart and tackle that project you've been pushing aside or meet up with an old friend that has been ditched for weeks maybe even months.
The holidays are truly a moment of pure bliss in the air and meant to be spent in any way you've ever imagined. For your last chapter I challenge you to do the unexpected and make 2014 an adventure you'll never forget. It's only the first of December, you've got 31 days to make the magic happen! #LastChapter
